*Okashi – Shipping Policy*

1. *Overview*

Okashi ships authentic Japanese snacks across India from our warehouse in [City, State]. All shipments are handled with care to ensure your treats arrive fresh and on time.


2. *Order Processing*

- *Processing time:* Orders placed before 2 PM IST are typically processed the same business day; orders after 2 PM are processed the next business day.

- *Confirmation:* Once processed, you will receive an email with your order details and a tracking link (when available).


3. *Shipping Methods & Costs*

- Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and appear on the order summary.



4. *Delivery Area*

We currently ship to all postal addresses in India. Delivery to remote areas may incur an additional surcharge; you will be notified before finalising the order.


5. *International Shipping*

At present, Okashi only ships within India. We will update this policy if international shipping becomes available.


6. *Tracking & Updates*

- Once your package is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email.

- You can monitor the status on the carrier’s website or through our “Order Tracking” page.


7. *Damaged or Lost Packages*

- *Inspection:* Upon delivery, please inspect the package. If you notice any damage, write “Received in damaged condition” on the delivery receipt and contact us within 24 hours.

- *Claims:* We will coordinate with the carrier to replace the damaged items or issue a refund, subject to verification.

- *Lost packages:* If a package is not delivered within the estimated timeframe, please contact support with your order number; we will investigate and, if necessary, re‑ship the order at no extra cost.


8. *Shipping Insurance*

All shipments are insured against loss or damage up to the order value. The insurance fee is included in the shipping cost.


9. *Customs & Duties*

Since we ship only within India, no customs duties apply. If a package is held by customs for any reason, the buyer is responsible for any resulting fees.
